Dr. Portia Lewis is a 1999 graduate of the Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She joined the staff at 1488 Animal Medical Center in January of 2010 after having worked with Dr. Powell at Eastex Veterinary Clinic from 2004 thru 2006.  Her areas of interest are internal medicine and ultrasonography.

 

Dr. Lewis’ love for animals and charming personality makes her an ideal fit for our family here at 1488 and we look forward to working with and learning from her in the years to come. Her furry family members (pictured her with Dr. Lewis) are the Rottweilers “Linus” & “Stella”.
